One of my best friends just bought my 2 year old, Peyton, her first name stool as a birthday gift. She LOVES it and plays with it everyday. My youngest son, Bo, just turned 21 years old.  He's got a great job, bought a car and announced he is moving into his own apartment! Moving day came and Bo gathered all his strong friends and rented a large truck. I cried as I thought his entire life had just be crammed into a U-Haul.  Then Bo stated there was just one more item to pack.  He raced back to the house and returned with his "Bo Stool."  The stool road shot gun in his car -- completely seat-belted in!  When we all got to his new apartment, the ceremony was reversed.  The first item to grace Bo's new home was his stool!

My wife and I have been giving your name stool to friends and family for over 20 years in celebration of a new birth. I have no idea how many we have ordered but it has been many. We started this "tradition" as a result of our daughter, Amanda, receiving one of your stools when she was born nearly 23 years ago. She still has the stool and uses it to get things off the top shelves in her home. She is expecting her first child in July and my wife and I will continue the "tradition" when our first grandchild is born. This little story is not the reason why I am writing but, I thought you would enjoy hearing about our tradition with your product. I guess this would have never become a tradition except for the fact that your company's name and address was stamped on the bottom of Amanda's stool. Amanda loved to play with it for hours on end and used it to wash her hands and brush her teeth but only after we made her put the puzzle pieces in the proper place.

The reason I am writing is this. We have friends in Germany and they were blessed this week with the birth their first child, Jennifer. We want to send a stool but are concerned with the cost to ship it to Germany. We were shocked today when we took a box of Christmas gifts to UPS to ship to Germany. The shipping cost was three times the cost of the gifts. Would you please let me know how much it will cost to send a stool to Germany. We would really hate to break such a long tradition.

My daughter received a step stool from your company as a baby gift. She is now 3 year's old. We love the step stool-- it is one of her favorite things. Unfortunately, we lost one of the letters. Her name is Brooke and the step stool is painted in pastel colors. Unfortunately, we lost the first "O" in her name. I had to laugh when you wrote "The "baby" will recieve their stool...".  The "baby" is a 47 year old man my sister's husband. My daughter is 13 and she still has hers. She weighs as much as I do and uses it in her closet now, to reach things on the top shelf. When she was little, she played with it endlessly. Every family with a new child that we have given them to, over the years, still has and loves their  puzzle, name stool. I also hope you, or someone, keeps producing these forever. Carol, Thanks for the confirmation -We are the proud owners of 4 stools - our oldest daughter received one when she was born 14 years ago and it is still in her room (probably underneath a pile of teen magazines!). The last one we received was for the birth of our 4th child 8 weeks ago! All of our children love their stools. I remember personalized gifts they have received.
It is great that I can now order the stools over the internet - it was easy
and convenient! The Photo Sculpture sounds interesting. Do you plan on
adding a picture to the web site or your brochure? It would be great to
see it before ordering one.
I look forward to Maggie's mom receiving the stool and hearing how

for our son. We bought them for all 3 of our children and I have been

Thanks for your note. This is our "standard" new arrival gift and both the
parent and the child love it! Often when the 2nd child arrives, the parent
gives us a hint that the 1st child loves their stool so much, that it would
be difficult for them to share! What a great testament to your product! We met you 15 years ago at an art fair in Columbus OH and have been sending your stools as gifts ever since--in fact our 15 yr old daughter still has her stool, her dolls occupy it rather than her.

Each one of them has thoroughly enjoyed the stools and have all spent time trying to put the letters in their correct place. I believe that they may have spent more time trying to force them into the wrong place. Thank you for making these stools. They are sturdy and resilient and very important to my growing children.I just thought you would like a little feedback from a happy consumer. This last order was our third of the month. This was the first one placed online. You are now even more convenient to us.

still have their name puzzle stools and still use them almost daily for
reaching things on their closet shelves or changing lightbulbs. Considering
we bought the first one at a craft fair in Chesterfield Mall over 16 years
